SLA is the most accurate process for fit/form prototypes and verifying design before committing to full production. Its high accuracy and good surface finish also make it the best choice for design models, fit-check verification models and master patterns for silicone rubber molds.
Fused Deposition Modeling produces exceptionally strong functional parts using engineered plastic materials (ABS, PC, ULTEM and other thermoplastics) that are stable and dimensionally accurate. FDM parts are ideal for fixtures and low-volume production parts.
Composite 3D Printing produces exceptionally strong functional parts using engineered plastic materials reinforced with a variety of composite materials. Parts can be reinforced with Carbon Fiber, Fiberglass and Kevlar for unparalleled strength, stiffness and durability.
Laser Sintering (SLS) technology offers fully functional prototypes with strong mechanical properties and good thermal resistance. SLS prototypes offer excellent long-term stability and resistance to most chemicals.
PolyJet printing offers very high precision models and prototypes with outstanding surface features and fine detail. Like your inkjet printer that fires ink, the printer’s print head literally rains down liquid plastic onto the build tray. High power UV lamps on the sides of the print head instantly cure the dispensed plastic.
Additive metal 3D printing fabricates parts directly from CAD files. The printer uses a high powered laser or electron beam to melt and fuse metal powder into a fully dense part. Highly complex geometries can be created in hours without any tooling. Mechanical properties are similar to wrought materials.
InterPRO offers urethane castings, plastic prototypes with material properties similar to engineered production plastics. These prototypes are cast from liquid plastic into low-cost room temperature vulcanized rubber molds.
InterPRO offers professional design services for customers that do not have 3D CAD capability. Our CAD support services include: 2D drafting, 3D solid modeling 2D to 3D file conversion, and Reverse engineering.
The Strength of Aluminum With the Ease of 3D Printing
Have you ever 3D printed a part that wasn’t strong enough? The revolutionary Mark Two Carbon Fiber Industrial Strength 3D Printer prints with the strength of aluminum. Now you can have the dependability of CNC parts with the flexibility of 3D printing.
"Received these parts and wow, well done the appearance is perfect and the parts work great too! Direct quote from our VP of Engineering "this is the best looking thing I've ever seen!" Top notch stuff, thanks for hitting the lead time on the head too."
"I've found Interpro to be a class organization and you've personally been very helpful to me. Thanks for all the great work!"
"Just rec'd the parts. They look great! Excellent job on the finish work. Thanks for getting these done so quickly!"
"Thank you very much! The parts, timing, and your responsiveness was great. We look forward to continuing to work with you!"
"I am in custody of the items. They look pristine and interlock very well. This is the caliber I have become accustomed to working with you Rob. You have consistently met unreasonable but possible requests through your ingenuity and contact list. Thank you and I will be in touch with a follow up email reflecting the response from the our customer. I look forward to our next effort together."
"The parts work well. It is a good approximation of what we expect these parts to look like in production. The serrations actually came out well, and it helps to prove the concept. Thanks for your advice on this!"
"I wanted to take a second to thank you for collaborating with us for the 3d prints. The model was very well received and we consider it to be quite a success. We were very pleased with the speed and quality of the execution and look forward to working with you again in the future."
"Once again, I would like to compliment you and your staff on the last 2 sets of parts you made for us. A degree of hand fitting is usual in prototype building, but your last builds required almost no touch-ups to assemble. The high accuracy saved me hours of bench work. Thanks for the great service."
Everyone at InterPRO was very attentive, quick in their response and available any time I needed them along the way. They were able to reduce our time to market by expediting several stages of prototyping and production, which obviously brought us to the end goal ahead of schedule.
