SLA

SLA is the most accurate process for fit/form prototypes, and to verify a design before committing to full production. Its high accuracy and good surface finish make it the best choice for design models, fit-check verification models and master patterns for silicone rubber molds.

SLA technology builds parts by using light from a laser to solidify liquid plastic resin. InterPRO’s SLA material choices include ABS-like, PP-like, PC-like, clear, rigid or flexible, high-strength or high temperature resistant.

SLS

Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) is the rapid prototyping technology of choice for direct digital manufacturing (DDM) of products requiring heat resistance, strength and good surface finish. SLS is great for both functional prototypes and end-use components, including those with snap fits, living hinges and other mechanical joints. The SLS process employs a high power laser to fuse plastic powders layer by layer.

FDM

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) produces exceptionally strong functional parts using engineered plastic materials including ABS, PC, and ULTEM. Parts made using the FDM process are stable and quite accurate, making them ideal for fixtures and low-volume production.

Polyjet

PolyJet technology produces models and prototypes with good precision, excellent surface features and fine detail. This ink-jet printing process is capable of creating over 90 ‘digital materials’ with properties ranging from Shore A 25 up to Shore A 90 durometer.

DMLS

Metal laser sintering (DMLS) fabricates metal parts directly from CAD files, using a high-powered laser to melt and fuse metal powder into a solid part, one layer at a time.

The parts have mechanical properties equivalent to wrought materials, with a fully dense, homogenous structure. Complex geometries and assemblies can be simplified to fewer parts with a more cost-effective assembly.

Cast Urethane Prototypes

Cast urethane prototypes offer properties that closely match injection molded parts, from very soft to extremely rigid and impact resistant. Tooling costs are very low, and deliveries are very fast. These are functional prototypes with cast-in color, complex features and excellent accuracy and surface finish. Flame-resistant, UL-rated, biocompatible and clear materials are also available.
